Nassim Taleb : the coronavirus pandemic is no black swan

Nassim Taleb, who coined the term "black swan" and predicted the 2008 financial crisis, spoke on Bloomberg TV.

He said the coronavirus is NOT a black swan event. This is a white swan event, i.e. it was totally predictable. He talked about pandemics in the same 2007 book. 

He criticized the WHO, and also companies that had no tail-risk protection. He praised Trump for banning flights from Wuhan mid-January and screening/quarantining many passengers.
