Lithium's power shown in ETF, stock performance

Lithium is investors’ element of the moment, thanks to its growing use in batteries for electric cars and consumer electronics. Shares of the Global X Lithium & Battery Technology exchange-traded fund have almost doubled in the past 21 months. FMC Corp., Albemarle Corp. and Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile SA, which produce the metal, have gained even more.
